Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Process Mapping and Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes and workflows across operational and non operational activities (e.g. USV operations, data collection, post-processing,). Identify areas for improvement, eliminate waste, and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Lean Methodology Implementation: Introduce and champion Lean principles and tools, such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events and standard work, to drive operational excellence.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to measure process performance, identify trends, and inform improvement initiatives. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and achieve operational goals.
• Change Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximizing employee buy-in.
• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or safety. Implement cost-saving initiatives and track their impact.
• Quality Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance data quality and accuracy through process improvements and standardized procedures.

Requirements: Essential Skills, Attributes & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma certification and proven experience in Lean methodologies and process optimization.
• Proven Operational Excellence: A minimum of five years’ plus experience driving improvements within a complex organization.
• Change Management experience: Evidence of driving multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast paced environment with evolving requirements and timelines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Leadership and team motivation capabilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong change management skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
• Demonstrated excellent strategic and analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and business acumen; strong judgment in navigating and resolving competing situations
• Proven Adaptability: Ability to juggle multiple projects, thrive in ambiguity, and deliver results. Incredibly organized and resourceful; able to juggle and multi-task, with an attention to detail and follow through even in ambiguous situations

Desirable Experience

• Black Belt certification.
• Master’s Qualification of MBA.
